Privacy Policy
PrimeTruth Team (“we”, “us”, “our”) makes mobile games. This Privacy Policy applies to every game and app we publish under the PrimeTruth Team name on the Apple App Store, Google Play, or any other store, now and in the future (together, the “Games”, and each a “Game”).
Because this is one policy for all of our Games, some sections describe features that only some Games have. Where that is the case we say “depending on the game”. The App Privacy section on each Game’s store page shows exactly which of the practices below apply to that specific Game.
- You do not need an account to play. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- Your progress is saved on your own device and, depending on the game, in your own iCloud or Game Center account, which Apple operates.
- Our Games are free to play and supported by advertising. Depending on the game, they may also offer optional in-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by the app store; we never see your payment details.
- Advertising and diagnostics partners may receive device-level, pseudonymous data. You control ad personalization through the tracking prompt and your device settings.
- We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we process
1.1 Game data stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, each Game saves its own data locally on your device: level progress, scores and star ratings, in-game currency, items and unlocks, achievements, daily-challenge results, and your settings (for example music, sound, vibration, language, and reminders). This data stays on your device. It is not linked to your name or identity and is not sent to us.
1.2 Cloud saves and Game Center (depending on the game)
If a Game supports iCloud saves, Game Center leaderboards, or Game Center achievements, that data is stored by Apple in your own Apple Account under Apple’s Privacy Policy. To display leaderboards, we may receive your Game Center player identifier and the public nickname you chose there. We never receive your Apple ID email or password.
1.3 Purchases (depending on the game)
Some Games offer optional in-app purchases, such as virtual currency, items, or an ad-free upgrade. Purchases are processed by the app store (for example Apple’s App Store). We receive only what is needed to deliver and restore what you bought: a transaction identifier, the product purchased, and its status. We do not receive your name, billing address, or payment card details.
1.4 Advertising data
Our Games show advertising served by Google AdMob (Google LLC) and the advertising networks it mediates. To serve ads, measure them, limit how often you see the same ad, and prevent fraud, these partners may process:
- device identifiers: the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you have allowed tracking, the vendor identifier (IDFV), and app-instance identifiers;
- your IP address and the approximate (city-level) location derived from it;
- device and software information: device model, operating system version, language, screen size, app name and version;
- ad interactions: which ads were shown, viewed, clicked, or rewarded.
Personalized and non-personalized ads. Depending on the Game and your choices:
- Games designed with younger players in mind show only non-personalized ads. Every ad request is tagged as child-directed and under the age of consent, the content rating is capped for a general audience, and we do not show a tracking prompt.
- Other Games may ask for your permission to track through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, or have tracking turned off in your device settings, ads remain non-personalized: they are selected from context (such as the Game and your language) rather than from a profile of you.
Advertising partners act as independent controllers of the data they collect. How Google uses this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. The ad networks that Google may work with are listed at AdMob ad technology providers.
1.5 Analytics and crash diagnostics (depending on the game)
Some Games include analytics or crash-reporting tools so we can find bugs and balance the gameplay. These tools may process pseudonymous usage events (for example “level 12 started”, “settings opened”), performance data, crash logs (device model, operating system version, app version, memory state, and the technical stack trace), and a randomly generated installation identifier. This information is not linked to your name, email address, or other identity information, and we use it only in aggregate to improve the Games.
1.6 Notifications
Games may offer optional reminders (for example a daily-challenge reminder). Local reminders are scheduled on your device and require your permission, which the Game asks for only when you turn the feature on. Depending on the game, remote push notifications may also be offered; in that case a device push token is handled by Apple Push Notification service and our push provider so the message can reach your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
1.7 Support and correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any details you choose to include. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
1.8 Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, home address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera or microphone input, precise GPS location, biometric data, health data, or financial account details. If a future Game ever needs any of these, it will ask for your permission first and its store page will say so.
2. Why we use it and our legal bases
| Purpose | Data involved | Legal basis (where GDPR / UK GDPR applies) |
|---|---|---|
| Running the Game: saving progress, restoring purchases, showing leaderboards | Game data, purchase data, Game Center identifiers | Performance of our contract with you (the Terms of Service) |
| Funding the Game with advertising | Advertising data | Consent for personalized ads; legitimate interests for non-personalized ads and fraud prevention |
| Finding and fixing bugs, improving balance and performance | Analytics and crash diagnostics | Legitimate interests |
| Sending reminders you asked for | Notification permission, push token | Consent |
| Answering your questions and requests | Support correspondence | Legitimate interests; legal obligation for privacy-rights requests |
| Complying with law and protecting our rights | Any of the above, as required | Legal obligation; legitimate interests |
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the categories below.
- Apple (and, where a Game is distributed there, Google Play): app distribution, payments, iCloud, Game Center, and push notifications, under their own privacy policies.
- Advertising partners: Google AdMob and the ad networks it mediates, as described in section 1.4.
- Analytics and crash-reporting providers (depending on the game), such as Google Firebase, as described in section 1.5.
- Authorities and other parties when the law requires it, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our players, or the public.
- A successor if we merge with, or transfer our Games to, another company. This policy will continue to apply to your data.
We work only with service providers that commit, in their published policies or their contracts with us, to protect your data to at least the same standard described in this policy and required by the app-store guidelines that apply to our Games.
4. Your choices
- Tracking and personalized ads. If a Game shows the tracking prompt, you can allow or decline it. You can change your answer for any app at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on iOS. You can also turn off personalized ads in Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising, and manage Google’s ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
- Notifications. Turn them off in the Game’s settings or in your device settings.
- Game Center and iCloud. Managed in your device settings under your Apple Account.
- Starting over. Some Games offer a “reset progress” option in their settings. Deleting a Game from your device removes all of its locally stored data.
5. Retention and deletion
- Data on your device stays there until you reset it in the Game or delete the Game. We have no copy of it.
- Data held by Apple (iCloud saves, Game Center, purchase history) is kept under Apple’s policies and can be managed through your Apple Account.
- Advertising, analytics, and crash data is retained by the relevant partner for the periods described in their policies, typically limited windows measured in months.
- Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
To ask us to delete any information we hold about you, or to withdraw a consent you gave, email us at the address in section 11. We will confirm your request and act on it within the time required by applicable law. Because almost all Game data lives only on your device, the fastest way to erase it is usually to delete the Game.
6. Children
Our Games are made for a general audience. Unless a Game’s store listing says otherwise, they are not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age that applies in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where a Game is likely to be played by children, we configure advertising in child-directed, non-personalized mode and do not show a tracking prompt, as described in section 1.4. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to how we use it; to withdraw consent at any time; and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. The rights above apply under the GDPR and UK GDPR. PrimeTruth Team is the controller for the limited data we receive; advertising and analytics partners are independent controllers for the data they collect.
- California. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information. Where a Game shows personalized ads, the exchange of advertising identifiers with ad partners may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out by declining the tracking prompt or turning off tracking in your device settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- Other regions (including Brazil, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam) grant similar rights under local law, and we honor them in the same way.
To exercise any right, email us (section 11). We may ask you to confirm details so that we act only on genuine requests. Because we hold very little information that can identify you, we may also point you to the device setting or partner tool that gives you direct control.
8. International transfers
Our service providers, including Apple and Google, may process data in the United States and other countries whose laws differ from yours. Where required, they rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions. By using the Games you understand that data may be processed in these locations.
9. Security
We keep the data we hold to a minimum, use encrypted connections for anything sent from the Games, and choose partners that publish their own security commitments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will act promptly and notify you where the law requires if we learn of a breach affecting your data.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy is written to cover all of our Games, including features we may add in the future, so it should rarely need to change. If we ever make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note it in the affected Game or its store release notes. The version at primetruthteam.github.io/privacy is always the current one.
