Everything you write is yours. Quill claims no rights to it, never transmits it to us, and lets you export it in full at any time, free.
Quill stores entries on your device and, when enabled, in your private iCloud. If iCloud is off, a lost or wiped phone means lost entries. The app says so on its main screen when backup is off. Use Export to keep your own copy.
The app lock protects the app from whoever holds the phone. If you lose both the PIN and the recovery code, the app cannot be opened; your entries remain in iCloud if backup was on, and reinstalling the app removes the lock.
A one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple is the seller and handles every refund under its own policies and under the consumer law of the country you bought from — if you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the rights that law gives you apply whatever this page says. Everything needed to keep your data safe — lock, backup, import, export, search — is free with or without Pro.
Quill is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, PrimeTruth Team is not liable for lost entries or any indirect loss. Nothing on this page takes away rights you hold under the mandatory consumer law of the place you live.
