Turnus

Privacy Policy

Effective 15 September 2026 · Version 1.0 · PrimeTruth Team

1. The short version

Turnus collects nothing. There is no account, no server run by us, no analytics and no advertising. We never see your roster or your pay. This page explains where your shifts are stored, the one case where data reaches other people (a team you create), how to remove everything, and what rights you have if you live in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom.

2. What is stored, and where

On your iPhone. Your shifts, shift types, workplaces, rotation patterns, leave allowance, pay rules and shift notes are stored in a database on the device.

In your own iCloud. If iCloud is on, Apple's CloudKit mirrors that database into your private iCloud database — a space tied to your Apple ID that only your devices can read. We have no access to it and no way to get any. Turn it off in iPhone Settings › [your name] › iCloud.

Your pay rate. The hourly rate, premiums and overtime rules you type are stored the same way as everything else — on the device and in your private iCloud. They are never sent to us, and the pay figure is calculated on your iPhone.

3. Teams: the one case where others see your shifts

This is the only part of Turnus where your data reaches another person, and it only happens because you asked for it.

When you create a team and send an invite link, Apple's CloudKit sharing puts a shared database between you and the people who accept. Members of that share can see, for each other: the display name you chose, your shift colours, and the date, start time, end time and break of your shifts in that team. They cannot see your pay rate, your pay estimate, your leave, your notes, your other workplaces, or any shift outside the team.

A swap request carries the two shifts being exchanged and the answer to it. Accepting a swap changes both calendars.

The invite link is a key: anyone who opens it joins the team. Send it only to people you work with. The owner can remove a member, any member can leave, and "Delete all data" removes the team for everyone if you are its owner. We are not a party to any of this — the share lives in Apple's infrastructure under Apple's terms, and we can neither read it nor recover it.

4. Your iOS Calendar

Turnus reads your iOS calendar only when you turn on "Show iOS Calendar events", and only to draw a dot on the days that already have something. It writes to your calendar only when you tap "Add shifts to iOS Calendar". Nothing read from your calendar leaves the device, and nothing is stored by us. iOS asks your permission first, and you can withdraw it in iPhone Settings › Turnus.

5. Notifications, widgets and holidays

Shift reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device; no notification is ever sent from a server. Widgets and the lock-screen view read the same on-device data. The public-holiday dates for 26 countries are built into the app and work offline — Turnus does not look anything up on the internet to find them.

6. What we never do

No account, no email, no sign-in. No analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, no third-party code of any kind. No tracking, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt — there is nothing to track. No reading or "AI" processing of your roster anywhere but on your own device. Turnus makes no network requests of its own; the only traffic it causes is Apple's own iCloud sync and the App Store.

7. Purchases

Turnus Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store, as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple tells the app whether the purchase exists; Apple's own privacy policy covers the payment. We never see your payment details, and we do not know who bought.

8. Deleting your data

Settings › Delete all data removes every shift, type, workplace, pattern and pay rule from the iPhone and from your iCloud database, and removes your team for its members if you own it. Deleting the app removes everything on the phone. Your iCloud copy can also be removed from iPhone Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage.

9. Children

Turnus is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

10. Your rights in the EU, the EEA and the UK

Who is responsible. Turnus is published by PrimeTruth Team, an individual developer based in Vietnam, reachable at zenDesign219@gmail.com. Because Turnus has no server of ours, your roster never travels to us: we cannot read it, copy it, hand it over or restore it for you.

What we actually process. The only personal data that ever reaches us is what you choose to put in an email to us — your address and whatever you write in it. We use it to answer you and keep it only as long as that takes. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to the people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your shifts themselves have no legal basis to speak of, because we never receive them; they live on your device and, if you switch iCloud on, in your own Apple account under Apple's terms. A team share is likewise between you, the colleagues you invited, and Apple.

Your rights. You may ask us for access to the data we hold about you, for it to be corrected or deleted, for its processing to be restricted, for a copy in a portable form, and you may object to that processing. Write to the address above and we will answer within one month. For your shifts themselves you do not need us at all, and acting yourself is faster: Settings › Delete all data erases them from the phone and from your iCloud database at once, free and without any purchase. If you want a copy to keep, CSV and PDF export are part of Turnus Pro; if you would rather not buy it, write to us and we will help you get your data out.

Complaints. If you think we have handled your data badly, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the EU or EEA country where you live or work, or with the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom.

11. International transfers

We transfer nothing, because we receive nothing. If you write to us, your email reaches a mailbox we hold in Vietnam. Everything else — the App Store, iCloud, CloudKit sharing — is operated by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy and Apple's own transfer safeguards, not ours.

12. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Questions: zenDesign219@gmail.com.
